    Default Modest Mouse

Anyone here listen to these guys? Most people probably know them from "Float On", but they've got way better stuff than that. Other than that I don't think they've gotten on mainstream radio, but I'm sure they're a staple on college rock stations. They're basically an alt/indie band, but they have a very unique sound that you won't hear anywhere else. The lyrics for the songs are very deep, surreal even. Another thing to note is that no two songs of theirs sound the same.

So, do you hate them, love them, or don't even know who they are?

I'm trying to get my friend to let me borrow his Moon & Antartica CD, but he's been lazy about it. I think I might have to BUY it. :/

Some of my favorite songs are -

    3rd Planet
    Edit the Sad Parts
    Cowboy Dan
    Perfect Disguise
    The World At Large
Jesus Christ was an Only Child
    I Came as a Rat
    Paper Thin Walls
    Lives
    Gravity Rides Everything
    Many, many more

I will say this - you probably won't like every one of those songs when you first hear them, but listen to them some more, and they will grow on you. A lot. It's what happened with me.

Is that off Good News? I only have a few songs off of that one (Float On, Bukowski, The World at Large). I see what Limewire has to offer (can I say that?).

Oh, and another song that you absolutely must must must listen to is Dramamine. I feel like I've taken a few myself while listening to it.
