Triumphs and Ovations.

Does anyone know if CA has mentioned whether any such mechanic will be in the game at all?

I know there was the one screenshot of the Roman Legate in a chariot in a clear victory procession which leads me to hope that earning a heroic victory or successfully ending a war with another faction will lead to a triumph. They would fit in with the "Total War" aspect of the game, not to mention the political system CA have decided to implement, you could have rival senators discredit your victories and possibly block a motion for a triumph, and the cultural/economic benefits this would bring for your selected family.

I do hope they put them in the game somehow. They were a massive part of the Roman military/political system and feel they deserve to be in there somewhere!

Yes I want a button that says "hold a Triumph" at that point i select a general. That general then likes me but becomes popular. I then Have absolutely no control over him at which point he rebels taking half my empire and making me lose the game.

Please I am a Masofist CA Impliment this feature =)


Honestly though I doubt CA is building anything new at this point so you all can give up hope.
