    Default rome total war stopped working

    i was as playing rome total war today and the game froze i was forced to shut off the computer and when i brought it back up the game wouldnt start, when i click on it it comes up with an error message saying rome total war encountered and error and was forced to close, i tried re- installing uit and that doesnt work.

    Anyone know how to fix this?

    its windows xp and i got it off an online website about a year ago and its worked up till now
