A Peloponnese DLC would be ideal because the conflict did not span over a huge area (like Empire or Rome) but it is a concentrated region. Kind of like the Peninsular campaign.

are you recruiting for this future mod?

This would be very boring.
"We will bring Rome to them not because of the strength of our legions, but because we are right"
"The Romans had left marble and stone, brick and glory."
Interactive World Map from 3000BC to Present
Interactive Scale of the Universe
"Me against my brother; My brothers and me against my cousins; Then my cousins, my brothers, and me against strangers" - Bedouin wisdom
It be really cool either way!
This is an absolute must for a mod if you can edit the landscape.
Don't even need to re-create anything, just make this area bigger and add more cities.
I want it to be the official stand-alone expansion for rome 2, not a mod....
bigger map please!!

When mod release date
I have only one question:
WHERE ARE THE LESBIANS!?

Looks great. There are a few minor issues with the map (Calabria and Salento should read Bruttium and Calabria respectively), but nothing that can't be fixed. Add Corcyra!
Peloponnese war would be copy of Shogun 2. same units, same tactics, similar leaders for every single factions etc.
Just by this map alone, This mod (if made) will be sick! I hope someone is willing to make it, I would love to Play Sparta, Athens, Crete, Etruscans, and Samnites!![]()

Pray for Pastor Saeed, and here is a link to sign a petition for his release: http://beheardproject.com/saeed#sign
I believe in Jesus Christ our Savior. If you do too, and aren't scared to admit it, then copy and paste this in your signature.

Top marks for effort and labour, but endless phalanx warfare does not interest me. Where is the variety in combat?
I think the safe money is on some sort of BI 2, perhaps set just after the sack of Rome in 410 CE. It would be the greatest of TW feats, IMHO, to preserve, restore and expand the Western Roman Empire from this point in history.
Another Alexander campaign would be good too or even just a historical battles bundle.
Grizzled Total War veteran.
Nice mod, suppose once R2 is released it will just be placing the units and re skinning them for each of the factions
Just a quick point.
This kind of mod it wouldn't be a "phalanx vs phalanx" as many people suggest.
Macedonians and Thessalians were mostly cavalry based factions.Epirots, Acarnanians and Aitolians were favouring light troops and skirmishers , Thracians had their own fighting style with light infantry ,Islanders had fleets and marines and so on.
Greco-Persian wars and Peloponesian wars, the most serious conflicts of the era, were not phalanx vs phalanx wars either.(with few exceptions).
Therefore I can't think how all these conflicts could be described as "boring" or "monotonous" or "Shogun like"....
Quem faz injúria vil e sem razão,Com forças e poder em que está posto,Não vence; que a vitória verdadeira É saber ter justiça nua e inteira-He who, solely to oppress,Employs or martial force, or power, achieves No victory; but a true victory Is gained, when justice triumphs and prevails.
Luís de Camões
Such a game will never be released. All factions will use hoplites and everything will immediately boil down to "my spear is longer and sharper than your spear!". It sounds almost (but not quite) as catastrophic as the notion of an American civil war TW
