personal-use mod in need of some expert help...

hi all, i am not a modder, i'm just addicted to tw and i have some knowledge on putting units into the game...i was thinking about making a small mod just for my personal use, and i wanted someone to explain me how to...:

-change a faction's name
-change a banner
-making a new banner (what program is required and some install issues)
-making a unit card (what program do i need to make them...as long as i have an screenshot or image of some kind)

i have some of dark fenrir's models, dwlded from rth and i like them...i wanted to turn change the faction of the greek cities...using some of his models for my personal use...i wanted to use a new banner and change its original name and such...but i need to make new unit cards as dark fenrir does not provide them...

i have some knowledges in adding units to the game from tga/dds/cas files and such and a bit more but not much...and i was hopping someone could help me

-change a faction's name

If you have RTW 1.0 or 1.2 look in data\text\expanded.txt, if you have RTW 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 or 1.6 look in data\text\expanded_bi.txt

-change a banner

Battle map banners are in data\models\textures and will look like standard_factionname.tga

-making a new banner (what program is required and some install issues)

You'll need a program such as photoshop to edit banners, and you are best off replacing an existing one.

-making a unit card (what program do i need to make them...as long as i have an screenshot or image of some kind)

Photoshop can once more be used for this as well.
