CA conformation on shipping physical copys early please?

Hello CA i purchased a physical copy of Rome 2 and I'm wondering if is your goal to get the online sites that myself and others have purchased from and want right away like people who did it digital way.
Thank CA out any body else who may have an answer.

Normally i get to play the game like 14 hours sooner if i order it digitally. I think you just have to wait for it some longer.

But you dont have to complaign on CA. They have nothing to do with it on when you get your game besides setting a release date.

I don't think it's really up to CA whether or not they ship physical copies early. It would be up to the distributor you bought it from, or SEGA.

I would imagine at a certain point, they are sent to distributors like Amazon, game stores etc.

Bricks and mortar stores normally receive physical copies at least 5 to 7 days before launch date. They normally sign street date agreements, but it doesnt matter with this because you'll have to sign in with Steam. In the UK that means people like Centresoft should be receiving distrubution pallets in about 2 weeks, maybe less.

even if you got hold of a copy before release date, you couldnt play it without matching it to a steam account which makes it unplayable until the actual release date

CA has nothing to do with it. SEGA and the distributors are the ones that sell it. Besides, as someone said, you won't be able to unlock it on Steam until release day, so what's the point? You'll just have to be patient like everyone else.

YEP, does not matter if you get it TODAY somehow you will still have to wait for steam to unlock it. Which is usually 10am central time tuesday morning cuz they are retarded.

all people will be able to play the game at the same time and that is when Steam activates it, no second earlier or later. no matter if you got the digital or physical copy. now the only premise is that your physical copy has arrived just in time, which shouldnt be a problem usually. amazon ships steam games so that they ll arrive one day before official release and i think this is also true for most other online-shops


also, CA are the last ones who have a say in this matter. it s more a thing between Sega and all their distributors

did you ever have to wait weeks before your copy arrived? (imports aside) i think the worst thing that could happen is that you get it one day later, maybe 2 in a worst case scenario
