I also dont get marriage proposal to my faction heir (just one and I rejected it) I will probably fail my campaign coz of this

I remember sometinh like generals adoptions...

For the princess-- I'm not really sure what the age cut-off for having children is in the games code. Your faction heir is alright, though. When he takes the crown, a brother or cousin will be declared heir (if one exists). He doesn't HAVE to have kids per se.

The age for kids I think mostly is until 45, but I have seen older ones too.

I don't think there is a strict age limit for when women could still have children in the game.

Yeah I can confirm that the max age of the princess agent is 45 and the max age for having kids is 50.

    Not doubting this gamewise, but...
Realisticly, were women really having kids in their late-40s back then when the average lifespan was like 35 (the average for those surviving childhood maybe 60)?
Odds are neither parent would survive to see their child grow to adulthood.

I think I would change that (child-bearing) age from 49 to 39. More realistic + increase difficulty for the Royal family's breeding slightly.
Is that something that can be changed or is it hard-coded?

Well, child mortality is nonexistent, FMs don't suffer from premature deaths unless 1000 other people die alongside him/her, twins don't exist, large families don't exist... the list goes on.

I don't think you want to play a game where your generals suddenly decide to kick the bucket.

Oh, Im not suggesting child mortality or anything in-game. Just thinking the odds on many 49 year old women surving childbirth sound reallllllly low.

You need to know these things:

    1. The amount of male FMs you can have is related to the number of provinces you have, so if you have 5 provs you will get around 8 male FMs max(this is including generals and adopted ones too)

    2. A male FM can have up to 4 children(including adoptions)

    3. Adopting is a bad idea because you essentially swap the royal family to a bunch of randomers instead. You also don't get to keep the blood trait and the surname of the original family.

    4. The adopted generals are bad because they are adopted at ages 20 - 35 most of the time while a real son will come of age at 14, so you have more time to develop his traits.

    5. Another bad thing about adopted generals is that they have their own starting traits, sometimes this is good, but if you don't adopt each of your next generations will pick up more and more traits from their fathers personalities(these are also birth specific traits, so you cant get them on adopted generals) and make them more capable at a young age, plus they can achieve most of the same traits that the adopted generals have too.

The only time I see adoption as a necessity is when you have only one male family member, 3 of his children are female and you dont want to risk having a fourth one that would ultimately lead you to go extinct because there would be no king. One other option in this situation would be to marry one of the daughters he has to a foreign general provided she is of age.
If you just need more male FM's leading your armies or governing you should instead of adopting just recruit a generals bodyguard from a castle. But doing this also means you are changing the province:male FM ratio, so that might not be the best choice either.

Oh men, I see I made a lot of mistakes in my campaigns.
In early stages when I need some more cavalry and generals I made one or two adoptions... Well, in next campaing will have more experience

One or 2 adoptions are not that bad, not recommended in early game though, as the starting family is pretty small and an early adoption might mess it quite a bit. You can always just not marry him to anyone of course.
Also, I'd recommend not to marry the females in your family tree that dont appear on the campaign map(aka all the females that are born and are not the daughters of your heir or faction leader). Marrying these non-agent princesses is about the same as adopting only worse because they are married and will produce children. The princesses that do not marry until 45 will go into nunnery and disapear off of the family tree leaving more space, so that is a starategy you can use. You should consider lowering the retirement age of princesses to something like 30 or 25 to clear up the family tree faster.

Realistically you would expect to get pregnant until 40-45 yrs.

Ive had women in my games family tree (even since this topic came up) have children when they were in their early 50s (husband is usually several years older).

Rare, but Ive had it happen. So, I know the age cut-off (to have children) for married family-tree women is older then 49 or 50.
