Default For all you Carthage lovers

For all you Carthage lovers like me, that will be playing Carthage in Rome II. This is a great video that's been out for a while, that I just came across.

I can't wait to crush the Roman fleet at sea, as they try to invade my Empire.

    Well that escalated quickly.
The description Last of the Romans (Ultimus Romanorum) has historically been given to any man thought to embody the values of Ancient Roman civilization —values which, by implication, became extinct on his death. It has been used to describe a number of individuals.
Flavius Belisarius (505?–565), one of the greatest generals of the Byzantine Empire and one of the most acclaimed generals in history. He was also the only Byzantine general to be granted a Roman Triumph.

I don't know where I read some quote about how cruel the romans were. That the more sophisticated a civilization gets, the tendency is that they become less "barbaric" at war. Yet this trend was not much present in roman society. And finished saying it was one of the three most cruel civilizations that ever existed.
"We will bring Rome to them not because of the strength of our legions, but because we are right"

"The Romans had left marble and stone, brick and glory."

I think everyone was cruel back then, the Romans only appear crueler because they ruled over so many people for so long.

Though our ancient cultures were said to be very civilized, there is evidence of their having used a wide variety of hideous torture methods throughout history to end the lives of criminals and traitors.
Back then, in some theater, there were actors that die for real

The Rome's Worst Nightmare one is a great movie/documentary. Not sure about historical accuracy but its still great. I highly recommend it.
