Expansions Needed

I recently dropped my old laptop (Vista) for a better new one (Windows 7). I was wondering if we needed all 4 expansions of Kingdoms installed to play the mod (I've never bothered to try without them all) because Crusades expansion doesn't want to install. I'm using the disc Gold pack if it helps. Anyone have experience in this issue? I don't feel comfortable keeping my UAC off forever (if I just need to turn it off for the installations that's no problem). If it has to stay off for the game to work does anyone know a work around?

You don't need all 4 expansions in order to have mods, I know this because A) even if you only have one expansion its still kingdoms, and B) because I used to just have Britannia and third age total war worked just fine ( hadn't discovered this mod yet).

Alright thanks for the info. I've had them all installed for so long I never really tried running it without them. Alright then I'll be set for the new release!
