Maybe they are just public relations people? Their job is to communicate with the community, put up videos, go to events, etc. But I don't know for sure.

Craig, Will, Joey and Trish is Community, they don't technically work on the game I think, only does the community stuff.

Craig, Will and Joey are all part of the Community team. Jamie Ferguson is the lead battle designer. The AI guy they interviewed in the Rally Point was Julian McKinlay.
