    2- create a new folder and the call it americas
    3- instal part one and part two into the new folder you created
    4- launch kingdoms through steam and select Americas
    Steam users :

    -edit america file to any other name example : (americas_1)
    -create new file with america name
    -install the mod on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\americas_1

    Shouldnt the instalation text be like this ? Or am i assuming it wrong ?
    Does the installation file to to SEGA\etc ?

    i followed the instructions for installation for steam and when i started up the game it crashed on the loading screen

    same here downloaded and installed fine but simply doesn't start.
    playing kingdoms from steam, bot replacing americas and adding the dbm folder as mod within the launcer

    make sure you guys check your virtual files, i know this has been the issue with multiple mod installs i have done, go C/users/appdata/local/virtualstore/me2tw (delete this file) however this file contains all ur previous save game file so be prepared however it does often fix the initial startup CTD.

    does body knows how to reduce the settlements of factions? I want to play as the seleucids but they have too many settlements, i want to reduce them like every single faction too

    Gentlemen:

    First of all, this looks to be a fabulous bit of work. Someone suggested I try it instead of Rome II and I think his advice was spot on. I have to finish up my Darthmod Empire campaign and get into this.

    One problem with the download system. Part 1 worked fine but when I downloaded Part 2 from the Mega site I got an error message which stated that "DBM is not totally installed" and cited some map.wfc file as having invalid data. Error 21C. It did not install the icon.

    I dl'd Part 2 from one of the other sites and it worked perfectly and I have been able to go right in and take a look.

    Again, congratulations on what appears to be a superior effort.

    Installed it. Every time I try to play it says "Windows cannot find 'kingdoms.exe'.

    Ignore the above post.

    Just played through a couple of custom battles. It is a bit early, but I think this mod might just replace all others. If only Rome II ran this well.

    This mod is awful for one HUGE reason. The main appeal of downloading these typically creative and entertaining mods is that they are free, yet of high quality. The fact that the only download links offered by the creator require a fee or all of my information repels me from wanting to download the mod at all. What a shame.

    About downloads:
    Deposit files is working... at least for the first part, I must wait to finish it to start the 2nd
    Rapidshare is no more free
    Mega wanna install something in Firefox and in IE asks for a decryption but does not give anything to decrypt.

    I presume it's time to replace those links with more "friendly" ones.

    Note:
    In the past when downloading several files for a mod, I've noticed corruption in one or more of those files. It's better to download ONE at a time, and sometimes with the virus checker off as it also can corrupt it too.

    Torrents seem to be pretty flawless about getting the copy of the mod in your hand as quickly and corrupt free as possible but entirely depends upon the kindness of seeders and that's more likely late in the evenings.

    Hello all on the DBM team.

    First I would like to say that this looks a fantastic mod, which I would really like to play, congratulations for all the hard work which you have put into it, it's clearly a labour of love.

    However -

    All of the sites you advertise to download this from seem to want to charge me for the honour of using their site ONCE - to download this, and then I'll probably never use that site again. Why have you not made this available to download from somewhere that doesn't want to pick my pocket in order to use - like, say, THIS Total War Centre site - I see it has it's own downloads section which has hundreds of other mods available on it?

    No offence or moaning intended by this, and I apologise in advance if this is a stupidly obvious question to ask (I've looked in the FAQ but didn't find anything there so thought I'd ask here).

    Default DBM PATCH 1.1 RELEASED

    REQUIREMENTS
    1 - Medieval2 - kingdoms installed and working
    2 - DBM 1.0 installed and working
    3 - 2GB of free space on your hard disk.

    INSTALLATION
    1 - Download the patch. you'll get a file named DBM_Patch_v1.1.7z (size about 266 MB).
    2 - Now Unzip it (using 7zip). Right click on DBM_Patch_v1.1.7z, select 7z-> "Extract here". you'll get a folder named DBM (size about 1,55 GB).
    3 - Cut and paste the DBM folder in the mods folder of your med2 installation (where there is already a folder named DBM, the version 1.0), and answer "yes" when windows ask you if you want overwrite existing folder and files.

    For example: i download the patch and save it on my desktop. after unzip it, i get a folder named DBM. I cut and paste it in mods directory of my med2 installation folder, in my case "E:\Programmi\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods".

    This patch includes the following modifications and bug fixes

    CAMPAIGN

    Rebalanced squallor and pubblic order.
    Rebalanced general economy.
    Rebalanced money bonus for ia and malus for player
    Rebalanced experience and morale bonus from building
    Reworked the armour upgrade system
    Removed Senate at start time. Now it's an emergent faction.
    Hellenistic reform happen randomly between turns 50-66
