Greece.
Hi.
I'm just curious about the possibilities of implementing Greece in later BC versions, I know the mod is based on the middle east, but Greece was a historical part of the Byzantine Empire, and was raided several times by both Arabs and Turks.
Since Crete and Rhodes are already there, I was wondering if it might be added in BC4 or later versions of BC3.

Re: Greece.
The map will be enlarged in BC 3.0, but not so much to the West.
So, adding Greece is not planned. But the city of Adrianopoulis will be added in 3.0

Re: Greece.
I partly agree with the addition of Greece. I think some settlements like Andrianople, Thessalonica, Mystras and maybe one more balkan city should be added and with some scripts there will be invasions from Arabs, Kipchaks, Hungarians, Venetians and Sicilians, just like the 4th Crusade script. With the current settlements ERE is secured from the west something that changes his position. Con/nople is secured while in fact it was always under threat. Of course it's difficult to add all these things.

Re: Greece.
I also agreed, but the 3.0 map is already done, and there will be no more changes.
But historical invasions and uprising in the west will be scripted

Re: Greece.
Well I guess the team's going to have to expand west a little bit in later versions, I don't think anything of significance lays further to the east. Unless they'd like to include asian civilizations.

Re: Greece.
We will not include Greece, because otherwise we would obviously have to include territories further north, and then move some resources there to populate the map, which in turn would be irrelevant to Islamocentric character of this mod. We also disagree with you as to what is significant and where, and what's not.

Re: Greece.
At least it's good that there will be scripted invasions.

Re: Greece.
One reason Greece was not included was that the East Romans faced enemies in the west too. Since their enemies are not in the mod, you don't need the resources of Greece and the rest of the west. It's basically the best approximation they could have to include the Romans while not needing to add any factions to the west.
