Your MAIN peeve with the game
So, what is your main peeve with the game, based on the CURRENT INFORMATION? Not saying it's not liable to change, but base your answer on what we know so far.
For me, it's a tie between 20-card only armies and only 2 player MPC. But my vote goes to 2 player MPC, because 20 card armies can be fixed with mods.

The speed of battles. All units are like kenyan marathon runners and units are dying way too easily.

No idea as I haven't played it yet...
OK then - the arrow trails. But they're gone now - or if not gone, massively toned down.

the UI really bothers me.
though the AI was the most annoying thing in Shogun 2, hopefully Rome 2 will have a better AI.

It was the arrow tracers, but now that those were tweaked, I guess I'd say the general portraits look bad.
Nothing else about the game that they've shown so far is less than I expected. I'm really looking forward to this game.

Even though I know the speed is going to be toned down significantly from what we've seen, I still have to say speed. Everything else is lovely. The new screenshot proves that the arrow trails look quite nice now.
In Jack's dev diary, he mentioned how the speed will be slowed down 'slightly from Shogun 2'. Personally, I have a problem with that. I never liked Shogun 2's speed whatsoever. Things just went way too fast. If it's only slightly tuned down from Shogun 2 then I will be a teeny weeny bit disappointed. Everything else is shaping up to be beautiful though

Yes, it's the battle speed problem. Engagements are over too fast! - Flanking maneuvers are not decisive (when they are in position the battle is already over)
- I have no time to watch the battle animations, without losing the game...
Apart from that, the game looks great!
