Bug making TATW completely unplayable; help needed!

Ok, so, I can load the game fine (I'm on TATW 3.2 MOS 1.5) and access the menu, options etc. perfectly well. But, whenever I try and play a game of any sort (historical battle, custom battle, quick battle), I immediately get an 'unspecified error' message and my game closes down. Whenever I try to start a campaign, instead of the cutscene playing, I get an unspecified error and my game closes down.

I'm non-steam, have deleted the 'geography' files and 'maps.rwm', have disabled UAC once (do I have to do it again after a new installation?), and I have stopped daylight savings.

I have tried a reinstalling many times, and it does not do anything to help. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Something isn't installed right. Uninstall and reinstall. It could be a problem with MOS, so first, just install TATW 3.2 and make sure it works, then try installing MOS. Have a look at these threads to makes sure you are installing it right.
