In the installment guide it says to use 1.4 Full install and then the 1.6 incremental patch. But my current version of PE is 1.5. Can I use the incremental patch to go from 1.5 to 1.6? Also, is 1.6 save game compatible?

Wait for florin80 to give official advice but I'm pretty sure you can download 1.6 now and 90% it is save game compatible BUT DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!

If you have RTRPE v1.5 you can download and install the RTRPE v1.6 patch. And from what I remember it is save game compatible in the sense that you will be able to load an older saved game(IIRC I did this when testing some stuff back in Beta stage for v1.6), but I think that for some of the changes to take effect would require to start a new campaign.
