Just a quick answer please

I know this is probably in the other threads for RSII but how do I switch out a faction so I can play as someone else? I know it's a script thing with a notepad but I don't remember where I saw it. As far as I know you can only play one faction at a time correct? But anyway a link or an answer here would be so much appreciated!

It's on the launcher mate. No need to use notepad to switch between factions. Just click the Select Faction and choose either 0-turn, 1-turn, or Swap Factions and pick one from the dropdown list.

Okay well I installed the launcher and I am getting the RSII was not installed correctly etc. RSII, installed over Alexander, still starts as my Sparta but the launcher won't bring anything up.

Where did you install RSII (folder location), where did you install Vanilla RTW, and do you have steam?

I installed RSII in another location before I moved the files. I installed it over Alexander because that worked fine before and I like playing Vanilla with friends on MP and yes I do have steam.

I think that might be your problem as to why the launcher doesn't work.

Ah! That is what I was trying to remember before! Thank you so much. Where do I put the shortcuts again?

I think, you right click the game in steam and then go to properties, then launch options and paste it there. make sure there is a space before the (-) ' -mod:play_Syracuse -show_err'
