mp help

when ever i try to join a mp game i get a noticethat says "failed to join game (GS)"
can anyone tell me what ive done wrong?

you probably have a router or firewall that needs configuring, check the FAQ topic.

im really quite confused about what to do. i opened all the ports that it said on the faq page, but now it still gives me the same message. am i supposed to do anything else? lol sorry if i sound like a noob.

I usually get then when I try to join a game that says it isnt full but in actuality it is; Gamespy just hasnt updated to say it is full yet.

I've gotten them a few times as well, along with other fun messages and notices. If you keep trying ot get in, evenually it'll let you in. The more games going on though, the more time it will take to do that I have found.

I bet it's firewall related tho. Have you tried hosting a game yourself? can other people join that?

That also happens to me and so does the no response from host but for me just a relog onto gamespy or try to join it again will fix it.

ive tryed hosting a game, but nobody ever joins. i never get a message that says they cant. oh and no matter how much i try i cant join a game.

have you tried disabling your firewall? if that doesn't help the router should be the cause, meaning it isn't properly configured.
