Help! Whole legion disappeared.

I had 2 legions that marched north towards Genoa. One legion led by scipio attacked the city and garrisoned inside the city. The other legion led by Varro stayed outside Genoa near the bridge. In the next turn Varro's legion had disappeared. Is this a joke? Why did this happen?

Seriously though, Post Hoc is right. maybe the general Varro had low loyalty and rebelled against you or it was bribed by an enemy diplomat. Do you see diplomats hanging around there before the legion disappeared?

I alwats gared that hot headed react first think later Varo. For a bag of gold sounds like the Sword of Rome ditched his country in its time of need. I would hunt him down and decimate his entire legion.
