The year is approximately 640 AUC... And I believe I've made the mistake of attempting to expand at a semi-historical rate
My rate of expansion has allowed a number of super factions to develop.
...Meaning I've ventured chiefly into Spain and North Africa. I tried to attack the Greek peninsula but got my *** whooped by the super-faction of Free Greeks. They have basically conquered the entirety of the eastern map not already taken by Parthia. The other super faction is the Averni. They've begun to attack me recklessly in northern Italy and northern Spain. Simultaneously I'm trying to deal with the rampancy of Roman Rebels in Spain (they have 4 settlements there,) and the last holdout of Gallaeci on the far northwestern edge.
I see tiny factions like them walking around with 8 stacks where I with all my grand holdings (Carthage, New Carthage, Syracuse etc can only maintain three without plunging into the red...
Help? Suggestions?
I've literally put a hundred hours or more into this campaign... yet all this recent crap has got me wanting to restart -____-![]()
