Help...
I installed the game, but when I try to play it I get "Please insert the correct DVD-Rom, select OK and restart the application."
I have it installed with BI 1.6 and the DVD is in there, what am I doing wrong? Sorry if I sound like an idiot...
Thanks, DT

Re: Help...
Try starting the game from within the installation folder you installed it in. The shortcut is just looking for a different file as it is looking for the RomeTW.exe file.

Re: Help...
you need to use the RTW CD/DVD, NTW2 runs rometw.exe, not BI.

Re: Help...
Look into the folder you installed NTW2 in for the ...\napoleonic\preferences and open the preferences.txt file. here you can change your video options to a lower screen resolution:
BATTLE_RESOLUTION:1024x768 into a smaller resolution like 800 by 600
save after changing and restart the game.

Re: Help...
Thanks Flanders, that's what the problem was. The shortcut was taking me to R:TW as opposed to BI. I changed the shortcut destination to BI and bingo, NTW2!

Re: Help...
using BI will make custom battles impossible I think, I do suggest you stil to RTW + RTW CD.
