About your lovely scenery...

I really love the new scenery in NTWII, the trees and the sky especially. However, it makes it very painful to go back to other RTW mods which don't have them. I was wondering how (for personal use only) I could replace the default trees and sky in RTW with NTWII trees and sky. Is it just a case of replacing a few texture files? Or is there a lot of text editing involved?

As you can see, I'm not much of a modder.

it involves quite a lot of editing. We removed the weather and daylight effects (after failing to get good results with them). Trees require you to change the climate types.

If you really wanna do this, ask around on the modding forums. I'm too laz... uhm busy to guide you through the process

i would too want to use the NTWII scenery and weather and all that things, and i would love to be able to overwrite the regular factions in RTW with the NTWII units so that i could play vanilla campaign with NTWII units...perhaps even on the Mundus magnus map...or with rtr PE...


EDIT; i am also suffering extreme abnesia when tying to play RTW without the great NTW2 scenery... i just cant play the regular gaMeE!!ArGH! this must be fixed! :hmmm:
