Default Would there be a RS 2 version for Rome 2 ?

I know many of us love RS 2 and while we eagerly wait the release of Rome 2 it be nothing short of torture to leave RS 2. The game is just so much incredible and realistic. While I've read the reviews and walkthroughs of Rome 2 I have to say that I'm really impressed with some of the new features they've introduced. But at the same time I simple do not see it at the same level of gameplay as RS 2. So I was wondering if an RS 2 version of Rome 2 would be created (of course assuming there are enough modding tools), bcuz it would be more interesting be more interesting with the gameplay style of RS 2.

I suspect that this will depend upon how moddable R2TW will be. The impressive longevity of RTW and M2TW comes from the substantial degree to which those two games can be modded. Unfortunately, CA chose to gave the middle finger to the modding community when making ETW, NTW, and S2TW; these three have very little capacity for modification. I hope that Rome 2 will buck that trend, but I have little confidence in CA's capacity for thoughtfulness. We'll see.

Agreed, I don't see that changing. Not while their still using the Warscape engine. It's extremely mod unfriendly from what I gather and it's not looking like CA is gonna give us the tools to do any real modding besides tweaking the stats of units.

I think of it like this: There isn't much people that are willing to do major overhauls for the newer games. In Shogun 2 now it's possible to edit the campaign map and do all sorts of things to create an overhaul (It's also different to mod compared to the older games too so count that factor in).
