Just thought id share how i got it to work smoothly with my set up. I searched online and found this http://medieval2.heavengames.com/dow...php?fileid=106, i used only the 'd3d9.dll' file from that mod and used the rest of LuciferHawk's files. works like a charm now!

    Couple of quick screens

    Its not a work around.
You dont use all of the mod thats why it works.
You need my .dll file to make it work.

For smooth campaign map try to turn of 'widescreen'.

If you dont want to play like that use my older version GEMV2DBM.

    -----------------------

GEMV3.1 will now be online (little tweaks: eg. more color as requested)

I got the same problem as the one person above, the loading pages are very very slow and the campaign it's just unplayable, i'm like at 3-5 fps. But when i try a battle the game run perfectly fine. So the problem are on loadings and on the campaign map.

Also i try on vanilla but there everything run perfectly fine. So this trouble have to do with DBM or kingdoms.exe

I'm still searching but if someone can help would be nice, thanks

edit : Just try kingdoms crusades and still the same problem as DBM so the problem come from kingdoms and not the mod.

Dont worry I also continue working on a new version GEMv2.1Realistic and will in the future.
For high quality texture mods like TATW it is much better than GEMv3.1 while even having better performance:

Arent the screens you posted above from DBM? I recognize the roman units.

This mod is just an overlay. Nothing content related.

When i used your .dll file the game was so laggy i couldn't play the campaign, it would take 2 minutes to go from Rome to India. I don't know how the files work but i think my screens look almost exactly the same as yours. I'm satisfied, if i could rep you again i would .

I installed this and now MTW2 refuses to launch at all. It immediately CTDs.

Due to the .dll your game is missing half of GEMv3. It is better for you to use GEMv2_DBM.
