yes I have steam, will check it out. That pic looks a little distorted though. What type of file do you save your pics as? Does it matter if its PNG or BNP?
Hey, you welcome. Hope you like it.
I checked out Rome but it would interfere with Roma Surrectum but not sure yet. Its easier to apply to something like DarthMod.
Just currently I have Roma Surrectum installed so I need to change my file before getting started so I guess not that soon.
What do you mean by that? The engine is the same for all mods, whether it's Roma Surrectum 2, Darth Mod or Rome Total Realism VII, namely BarbarianInvasion.exe or Alex.exe, isn't it?
So a GEM for let'S say Alex.exe should work or all Rome TW mods using that exe I think?!
Back to topic: I will try the new GEM with DBM and post a screenshot
Thanks!
Ok, thanks!
From my campaign, using GEM V3.5:

using: 16x Antisophtric (ingame), 8x CSAA Anti-Aliasing (control panel), everything mayed out graphics wise ingame, 1080p resolution. NO Steam.
Yeah, I dont understand those instructions using steam
Ok I try to explain easy:
You have the .bmp file and question is how to post it in high quality?!
First make sure you setup steam to make Screenshots (View -> Settings -> In-Game -> Enable Steamcommunity In-Game + Screenshot Shortcut on F9)
Start any Steam-Game and press F9 ingame several times which will result into several screens take.
Now leave the game and go again to View -> Screenshots and select the game in which you took the screenshots.
Next you click on "show on disk" and explorer will pop up where the steam screens for that game are stored.
Now you only need to replace each with one you took in M2:TW (make sure you saved it before as jpg)
-> replace means it has to have the same name.
Back in your View -> Screenshots if you refresh the view you will see now the M2:TW screenshot and can select upload.
After it finished just click "show online" and click on the picture until it has maxed size and cant be clicked on anymore.
Now you at the real picture and just right click on it and select "copy link address".
This link you can use now when you insert an image in yout twcenter post in a very high quality!
2 things, one, default looks far too bright in Medieval 2, suggestions on how to fix this?
2, the alternative launcher crashes on startup, this one. Any suggestions for a fix?
Try GEMv2.1
I have one other user reported to me to much brightness but I cant tweak from far so its better to use GEMv2.1 for now. Might be brightness in your system settings.
Which launcher do you mean? Also try GEMv2.1 first or try turn off all AA in and out of game. Dont think its actually related to this mod.
Post screen please so I can judge better.
Why is it so blury?

I hope you mean
"I replaced the file that I took with steam with the bmp file stored in the M2:TW folder like this:
I saved the bmp file to a jpg file in MSPaint and replaced the one in the steam folder with that."
What quality has the one now in you steam folder? Do you play M2:TW over Steam? if yes there should be no problem if you have taken SS with F9 in M2:TW before and replaced exactly that one.
I can see you have other screens there too so you do know how to make it work. The only thing you do is upload not the original one but one you replaced.
The screen you replace should have same screensize like the one you replace it with.

I linked it before, but it didn't underline so you couldn't see it.
Not a clue why it crashed on start up.
