I hate to repeat myself, you all have noticed dark area in the campagin map, theare is historicly position of Bretonnia, alredy you have some units instaled that is not in custom battle and not in campagin. Theare Cavalier, can be used for heavy men at arms and Hevy Cavalry, next is bowmen, peasent spearmen and spearmen also not instaled in game, but all files are theare. . Secondly theare knights of realm and errent BUT NOT with Knights_errant_Standard-bearer and Knights_of_realm_Standard-bearer. You only need Questing knights, Green Knights, Knights of grail and most inportant Men at arms.. I apolagise about my english.

It's not that simple unfortunatelly. You need alot more than units to make a faction, and there is certain hardcoded limitations to the engine, like culture limit and number of settlements, RoDG is already streching those limits, which make things a bit more ackward when planning new factions to add.

Also you can get Bretonnian units at campaign, this happens via end-game events.

Ofcourse it is doable, but I would suggest to wait for 1.6 and build upon that any major changes for the mod, since it will already add new factions and change things drastically. Here is old thread for Bretonnia-submod:

Maybe Bretonnians should be included as an expeditionary force? Or just a smaller faction with two or so settlements so it could be squeezed in despite the engine limitations.

If none of that is possible, then the last resort should be allowing the player to create a bretonnian barracks/grail chapel/ or stables (similar to a Dogs of War Camp), that allows you to recruit bretonnian units.

Theare some models and textures of gryphon i created bretonnian gyphon riders with existing bret.models. animations was still big problem for me in that area. Still huge work to do. also i just forgated last two units yeomen archers and mounted archers, that models was in orginal mtw2 files i just reskin them and use them for bretonnia. you have yeomen archers in some games like fantasy wars and other textures can be modified with 3ds-max. i think i will wate release of 1.6 jet i know theare is long time to wait

I dont think the release of 1.6 will be as far off as everyone thinks.
I've been following there development thread here http://empiretw.ru/board/index.php?s...c=42009&st=850 and it seems that their almost at the end of their beta bug testing and so far they haven't had many serious problems.
They've also posted screenshots of the battle map for 1.6 and in some of them they have a lot of Bretonnian Knights in an empire army. Maybe their doing something with Bretonnia, maybe their not. We'll have to find out.

But the best news is that they are veryy hard at work on this mod which equals progress. Also they added tombkings and skaven which is pretty cool so far.

I may be stating the obvious, but here's my two cents as to what might happen with Bretonnia in the future.

If you check the screenshots for the wood elves you'd notice that pretty much the entire wood elf army roster has been completely modeled and looks ready to go. Link These screenshots were taken about 1-2 years ago and they have not been implemented into the game yet.

What i think is if the warhammer modding team wants to do something with the Wood Elves, then they would have to do something with the Bretonnians.

If you see the bottom right corner of this map, The Forests of Loren (wood elf kingdom) border Bretonnia. Though both factions are fairly hostile to another, they are integral. To the Bretonnians, the Wood Elves are believed to be fey beings who are as likely to destroy their citizens as they are to aid them. To the Wood Elves, the Bretonnians are as lowly as any other human, but they serve a useful purpose: they protect the left side of Loren from invasion, just as Loren protects the right side of Bretonnia from invasion.

The wiser Wood Elf mages know that Athel Loren's survival depends on the Bretonnians, and so have subtly aided them, and have sent forces to aid them in times of direst need. In short, mutual aid generally happens when things are truly dire, and neither side stands around waiting for the other to help.

So i'm gonna wrap this history lesson up now. They will eventually release the wood elves since they have a lot completed for that faction, but Bretonnia is important to the wood elves whether they know it or not. So if the mod team wants to be as lore accurate as possible, it would only make sense that they release the two factions together, hopefully in patch 1.7.
