Is this mod dead ?

hey ive been here for a time and ive seen that the developoer got hired by a great company ( forgot the name ) and i was just wondering will he still be working on this mod or will it be called dead ? thx in advance.

Worry not. The mod is very much alive. You can view announcements here.

When browsing the Hyrule: Total War forum the "stickied" threads including announcements are always visible towards the top, highlighted in a lighter color.

Don't count Neph out quite yet. Development time is cut between this, Sigma, and whatever is currently on his plate ATM.

The thing about Hyrule is that, though it is a Long Term project of Neph's, Sigma is also a long term-but also original-project which Neph may eventually get published by a large company as a full, retail game. H:TW, being based of off Zelda, can't bring in any money to Neph.

Protip: read a few of the most recent threads to see if a mod developer is still interacting and updating regularly. If the answer is yes, the mod ain't dead.
