Very nice head and grip, only the central rod looks weird, like the wood texture was not natural or should be oriented right - left and not top -bottom if you see what I mean.

Too bad I need to spread rep before giving it back to you.
Along the lines of my previous remarks/recommendations, I suggest that first you decide if you want to make a fantasy sword or a model of an actual historical specimen.
If you choose the second you would need to get some photos of the museum piece.

If you plan to have a broad portfolio, my recommendation is that first you make a few models of historical swords and then expand your portfolio into the fantasy types.

Very nice advancement of your sword model.
I see you have honored my hint.

In case you are not aware of this site here is a link.
You will find detailed sketches of almost every type of European medieval sword.
You will need to go through all the pages.

I was deliberate in making them as low poly as possible, for use in M2TW.
Yours will surely be much better if you properly emphasize their textures.
You can actually make money from them in turbosquid or 2nd life marketplace.

Hilt and grip look good, but the blade texture seems off. Nevertheless good job

    Also, from wikipedia:

Most wooden bats are made from ash. Other woods include maple, hickory, and bamboo.

Is it a difficulty with that particular texture, or is it a difficulty with applying any external texture?

I can understand this if you are using a limited feature edition of your software.

In the time between my previous post and this one, I tried to make a baseball bat just to test the textures.

    I made this in milkshape:
