How does mod switcher work?
I have heard of the mod switcher and is it any good?
I have only been playing vanilla RTW before, but I am interested in starting to play mods.
IE, if I download darthmod, RTR, SPQR, and TE + mod switcher, could I play them all with all of them installed?

Re: How does mod switcher work?
I don't quite understand. I know that I have to install each mod but can I play them, then use the mod switcher and play another one without too much hassle?

Is there any other way of "switching" without making like 4 different rome folders?

Yes, I know the link but would it work if I want to say have RTR platinum and TE.
How would it work?
Would it be like the thread that the reply gave me saying on switching the data folders?

Re: How does mod switcher work?
hey, do like me! i have four mods installed on a single RTW folder!!
if you have BI, download and install (in the same order):
RTW vanilla, patch it up to 1.3, install BI, patch it up to 1.6, and install these mods (off course you can install others, but I like these four mods, so..)
-Troy Total War
-Chivalry Total War
-XGM
-Terrae Expugnadae (was that correct? :S)
all those four mods work fine for me, and i belive you can install NTW2, before installing TE..
don't ask me why, i just did..
and i got very happy when it worked
hope this helps!!

Re: How does mod switcher work?
so I pretty much need to have like 3 copys of the game?
. (2.83GB x 3 = nothx).
My space is limited so unless there are any space-worth mods, then I'll stick with vanilla. I have no real beef with it.
From what I've seen, RTR and TE sound nice.
