Loading custom saved armies makes the game crash

Think I've reinstalled the game twice now (At least I know I have once) and I'm quite fond of playing custom games to immerse myself into some carnage and what I hate is to always create my army and the enemies armies, so I have always a saved army for each of my own likings, but just out of all sudden that stopped working, now as soon as I click on load saved armies the game freezes and then proceeds to crash...

I have also tried to delete all kinds of mods I have installed without any progress, neither the reinstalling helped me, anyone else encountered this and have solved it? It's really frustrating

It sounds like your saved armies file is corrupted and time to make a new one.

Care to tell me how I'm gonna do that? Been going through the content of the Shogun 2 folder in Steam without ever seeing anything that resembles "Saved"

Err, now a whole new problem just arrived, it did solve my crashing problems but the saved armies does not show up when I try to load them O_o

This is frustrating, haha :<

edit: I can see the saved armies has popped up in the new army_setup folder, but they simply will not show up when I click to load them ingame...
