    Default Unit Modelling

Hey guys, I´ve been trying to mod a bit around and have been, for someone who has just begun to mod, been pretty succesful. Yet now my first major problem has appeared. I was modding the shields in the Blackfyre Rebellion Mod and inserted one of my own. First of all I thought everything was fine but when I zoomed onto the units I saw that the all shields (not only my modded one) of the units concerned by the modded shield would only pop-up when I got in close (and personel ). So I was hoping one of you guys could help me out !

It's because you only edited the _lod0 model.

LOD = level of detail. You either have to edit all those models, 0-3, or do what we do and make the game only show the _lod0 version. You can do that by editing the unit's entry in the modeldb, right below the unit name. I can't remember the exact coding but if you look in the workshop section of these forums you should be able to find how to do it

I have found what you mean, yet I am not able to change the settings in a way which does not make the game crash, so once again I need your help...
