What BI mod do you recommend?

Hi

I'm new to this forum, but not to RTW. Though I bought BI when it came out, I haven't played it much. Compared to RTR 6.0 it is simply lacking a lot.

But I thought I'd give it another go. So what I'm looking for is this: A BI mod that will give me the sort of realistic battles RTR had - slower cavalry, longer battles, stuff like that.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of 0 round recruitment mods or 4 turns per mods, but if that is what it takes, I'll gladly bite. Any help will be much appreciated.

I enjoy playing Goth's All Factions Mod but the links to the download don't appear to work at the moment. It was a while ago but I remember Invasio Barbarorum - Flagellum Dei (IBFD) was pretty good as well, so you might like to give that a try.

I've not tried any of the others available but I'm sure they're well worth checking out.

Actually it is still possible to download Goth's All Faction mod - I did so just yesterday! Try looking in the Mod Workshop, and click on the topic called "List of Major Finished and Playable Mods". Scroll down a bit and it'll be there.

I dont know whats Happened to the thread for my all factions mod, I think it was supposed to be put into Barbarian Invasion Minimods but seems to have been lost somewhere. Anyway here is a link to Goths All factions Mod http://www.g-unleashed.com/index.php...h's_bi_mod . Try version 2.4.1 because it is very stable.
Also If you are interested try my latest mod Imperium Julianorum which can be downloaded here http://rapidshare.de/files/22167098/...a_0.2.exe.html . This mod is much like Goths All Factions Mod but has a new scenario and a much larger map to play on.
Hopefully when they have sorted the forums out both these mods will have found a new home on these forums.
Invasion Barbarorum is an excellent mod, is very challenging to play and is also very stable.

There's also Age of Darkness, which has version 1 release with a completely new version in development. I'd recommend it alongside IB:FD and Goth's mod.
