Kings/Generals/Family Members

Do you suppose a King's skin (or maybe family member's) differs from a Generals? The reason I ask is I've seen three different versions.

This one is obviously an early King's skin as he wears a helmet adorned with a crown.

This one from the demo has the ultra shiny, high quality armor with a plum pretruding from the helmet. He's dismounted from Agincourt.

All of these are from the English faction btw (except the one French). If so, it's one of those nice subtleties that can immerse you even more into the game.

Any ideas?

Hopefully.. MTW 1 had the king and the princesses looking different than regular generals..unless I'm wrong.

that gamestar.hu video looks good, but it looks like from the E3, so it's outdated, although still cool video.

MTW1?

EVERY unit looked exactly the same in MTW 1 as far as I remember (and I played it 2 days ago), at least RTW had different looking generals, as well as captians, standard bearers, etc.

Played MTW today, no king models.

What he meant was that the units had different cards on the campaign map.

Eh...That's a little dissappointing. Why the three models then? One for each of the 3 eras? Are any of them Captains?

@ Lord of Dance...On another note, did you notice titles when you played M2TW?

He is talking about the first MTW when the kings unit cards differed from generals, not skins.

We don't know yet, I would like to see a King look different though as well, but in the long run I wouldn't really care if it wasn't added.

If you were referring to me, I actually was talking about the skins, not unit cards. Only played RTW, not MTW or STW so I didn't know there was any difference in the unit cards.

Uh I havent played M2TW, I meant MTW the first one.

But I don't know about titles being in the new one. I hope so.

It looks like Family Members (not just Kings and Heirs) are represented differently than Generals. The English Royals have a full robe and ungraded armor, while generals only have a breastplate.
