Default CS 2 and dds files

Are there the same plugins for regular photoshop (7, which i still have installed) for CS 2? or will i still need to use 7 to edit skins?

I checked to see if I could open one of the skins and it gave me the "wrong file type" error.

what you could do is use GIMP as a sort of 'middleman' program to convert files. Basically edit your skin in photoshop, save, open in GIMP (under say tga format or something) and then convert. It'd be a pain for sure, but its not all that hard.

Hadn't had the luck to get the DDS plugin to work with CS2, the installer gets it to the right position, no complaints, but it doesn't show up in CS2. The same procedure with CS: no problem at all.

    What am I doing wrong?
Have a map and want a brief overview over it's list of regions, the coordinates of ports and towns?
Tired of working out R:TW compatible coordinates for descr_strat by hand? MapAnalysator might help.
Curious? Then have a look @
