I'll try to figure out how edit the building models in battle maps and then i'll try to add in DBMs Roman building models. If I'm successful I'll upload the patch here. If!
Do any of you currently having an 0.97 experience still have the installer file that you could upload / torrent? The download link's been dead for nearly 2 weeks and the itching to play is really starting to get to me.
the russian downloadlink is working very well for me. i will upload on gamefront soon

GoRR 0.1 beta - Glory of Rome Remastered
You guys are awesome, but my real life intervened. I managed to DL the russian link, but not sure I'll get more than an hour or two to do more than that. Still, working DL links are a great thing for the mod, and kudos for hustling to get em out there.
Turns out I did get a few hours in, playing as Rome. Four years in, and I really like how expensive it is to field a reasonable army while maintaining a building program. Along with the long delay before you can recruit a garrison, even when I've managed to start a steamroller I can't afford to maintain it and garrisons both. This may be the only total war playthru where I fight a second war with an AI. I may well have to conquer almost all their land to get them to accept peace, then give half of it back cuz I can't afford to hold it. Finally war has become so frightfully expensive that peace occasionally breaks out. Very well done gentlemen.
Hi guys. I really love the mod and it's one of the best I've played =) especially the whole language thing is amazing, because in Rome TW, Romans sounding like some US G.I. was just bad... =D The only complaint I have is not being able to recruit a diplomat when playing as Syracusae. I did try the fix, posted in some other thread, but then I couldn't launch the campaign at all =/
The other thing is just out of curiosity. What's up with greek cities family tree? I see they don't have one. Is that meant to be so, or is it just in my game? =D And since there is some part of the balkans in the campaign map, were you thinking about adding the epirote and illyrian factions as well? =)
Again, the mood is great! =)
good find. The option to recruit diplomats indeed is commented out in EDB for the Hellenic and Oscan faction. It will be fixed in the next version.
When you are firm in this file you can fix it yourself: search for the building city_hall2, and following, and remove the ";" in the respective lines.
The Greek Cities (and others) don't have a family tree because they are meant to be an alliance with its leading figures being unrelated. The other thing is just out of curiosity. What's up with greek cities family tree? I see they don't have one. Is that meant to be so, or is it just in my game?
Breathtaking, I am completely blown away from the quality and clarity of these units and game play. I can't believe I did not download this sooner. Just one thing, why are rome: total war units in the game? But keep up the good work, I can't wait to see the finished product.
ATM I am implementing some units from other mods in order to replace as many of the RTW units as possible. PlayerOne has made new Etruscan units.
For later, I am planning to fix the battle buildings. Additionally I wish to rework some factions the way the Romans and Poeni had been in the last install. I am thinking of the Celts and Greek factions, this might or might no include a first version of an Epeirus script.
