Default CTD on turn end; happens on same turn even when reverting to previous saves two turns back

Basically the game crashes on the end of the turn every time; I've gone back two turns and made sure I clicked the advisor before I ended my turn to see if that would clear it up. It didn't. The game crashes basically immediately when I press the end turn button. I've tried turning off fog of war and seeing if it was an issue with a cloned character, but it doesn't even get as far as following other characters. One time, I had a standing incomplete move order and it crashed in the middle of that move, so it seems it's not even getting to the AI turn before crashing. It's relatively early in the campaign (541 AUC) and i've gotten further in a previous game, so it seems to be an issue with this particular save.

    Per the sticky:
    Windows 7
    Steam version of R:TW Gold
    J:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rome Total War Gold
Playing as Rome launching RomeTW, none of the boxes on the bottom ticked.

Attached a DXDiag for my system information. DxDiag.txt
Attaching a bunch of saves. I have one for probably every turn of this game, so I can go back further if you guys want to look at them. They're in alphabetical order, with later letters being later saves. I've gone as far as 3 turns back and get the same result, even if I don't choose to take any actions and just end the turn immediately. saves.7z
There's no error message. The game crashes to desktop and windows gives me the standard "Searching for problems..." bit.

Hope that covers everything. If not, I can try to provide more information. Let me know if there's anything I can do to fix my save or if i'm hosed.

A common mistake is loading a save while you are on the campaign map. If you do this the script wont activate right. To avoid this you have to either close out of the program or hit escape and click the "?" in the upper right hand corner. Then once the save loads you must activate the script again.

Other than that if you were to not load the script while playing, that could make your save corrupted and not playable. I am however, assuming that this is the case because it seems to be the most common. So start over and make sure you start the script everytime you play.

Is this just an issue of "if the advisor (new poster filter wont let me use the proper word, apparently it's a filtered word) isn't loaded absolutely every time immediately your save may become a brick"? I'm pretty sure i've been consistent in loading it.

As for loading from campaign map, I have done that, but my issue with it dying on a particular turn still happens even if I load my saves from the menu.

Lets say it is an issue with not having launched the advisor on a particular turn. How far back do I need to go? I've got saves from every turn i've played. Do I have to go back until I find the turn that I didn't launch the advisor before ending the turn?

If you don't activate the script every time you load the game, your save file may indeed become corrupted and unplayable. So if you forgot to activate it even one time, it may cause problems and eventually end in the Save file becoming a brick. If you loaded a game from the campaign map, and didn't hit escape and click the question mark in the upper right corner before loading (or completely exiting out of the program) means that the script was never activated (correctly) and thus the saves that originated from that save will have become corrupted.

I recommend starting over, seeing how your only a few years in. Every time you load a game when clicking on the advisor, take a look at your treasury, if it goes up by 1, the script is activated.
