Gold Edition 15 Digits CD Key
I have been trying to find a solution to this for an 2 hours but as i noticed nobody even write anything about this.
I just bought Medieval Total War II Gold Editions and tried to install it. But my next button is in grey and cannot be click. So i searched at internet and noticed almost every cd key is 16 digits but mine is 15 digits. That's why i cannot pass the activate game screen. Then also i learn even if i write anything game can be installed and played but then i can't play multiplayer.
After that i tried to activate my game on Steam. And i don't know why but with luck my game is activated as MTW II retail but i noticed no Kingdoms expansion pack.
Is there any solutions for my problem?

Re: Gold Edition 15 Digits CD Key
I bought game from book&music store. At Turkey. No i couldn't passed activation screen with my original cd key. Then i checked some Turkish forums and found a few more person who have same problems. They asked distributor about this. And company said them it's Steam code. But when i tried on Steam just MTW II activated not kingdoms pack. Also game discs are not steam installer just retail installer.

I know nothing about Turkey's laws in this case. 15 digits for Steam sounds about right. No second code on the box, inside the box or on any documentation that came with it?
Have you asked Steam support?

Re: Gold Edition 15 Digits CD Key
No there is just a manual from distributor a standard manual almost every game has same manual from this distributor. And two DVD discs and one cd-key as XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX format. I activate code at Steam and it just activated MTW II not Kingdoms. Then i asked Steam Support team and waiting for answer. It is not exactly relevant my technical problem but i have a few question about multplayer system of MTW II.
First when game came off there was GameSpy Arcade... Now there is Steam also i heard IGN and Gamespot or GamersGate i'm not so sure about what was it exactly.
Now if my game is from Steam can't i play against someone from GameSpy Arcade or others? And I am not talking about unofficial servers. I am talking about official servers.

I have no multiplayer experience so I can't answer your question.
Unless Steam has other things going it sounds like you got a Medieval2 code, not a Gold code.

Re: Gold Edition 15 Digits CD Key
Okay distributor give me a second cd-key 16 digits. And it works for kingdoms and original game and multiplayer. Also because of their mistake i also have MTW II steam version and as i learned from someone else i can install Kingdoms from disc on MTW II Steam and play on steam. ^^ Thanks for help.
