Sieges and turns until surrender.
So whenever I lay a siege on a faction I get the number of turns until they either surrender or have a final battle for the said settlement. I have to wait out the full amount of these turns, usually around 7. Now whenever an AI attacks one of my settlements and then I mouse over to see how many days I have before it falls, it also says usually 7. But pretty much 90% of the time I have to fight the defending battle on the next turn or possibly 2 turns later, this leaves me with no time to send reinforcements and end up losing the settlement and obviously have to lay a siege again which will take 7 turns to take it back. Never does the AI have to wait the full amount of turns as I have to for the settlement to fall, why is that? How do I stop this cheating? Is it something I did?
I'm running SS6.4 with G5 ReallyBadAI, no other mods, and here is how the settings are:

Re: Sieges and turns until surrender.
Its not cheating. Its just how the ai is. If the ai thinks they have a chance to defeat the defenders of a settlement they will attack as soon as they are able. If you have enough defenders they will either not attack or will siege untill time runs out. Usually the ai wont attack if it thinks it cant win.
