Can't download

I am a steam user.

I install the RS2 2.5 file, I have a separate file for it, copy and paste it to rome gold. I click the Icon and it says it failed to install properly follow instructions... And I am pretty sure I installed it correctly.

It helps to be more descriptive.

Where did you install RS 2.5?
What icon did you click; steam icon, rs2.5 shortcut, etc?
Did you follow the steam instructions exactly?

Also, I figured out where snap.do came from... dont use the strategy informer site, and if you do, just use Opera because it doesn't affect that browser.
