This thread would not be called "OFFICIAL REZZED COMPLAINT THREAD!" if it was created to debate with sense. Even the opening post have been "cleaned" by the holy inquisition. It is just in the TW tradition to complain about complainers before complains are actually raised.

Like I said go away unless you want to complain and maybe agree with someone else's complain. One notable trait of counter-movements is how they tend to appropriate negative labels and names to turned it into their own militant names.

Of course you may create an "official" rezzed praise thread if you want. You can trust me I would not post any complain there but maybe one or two praises.

Best complain ever. If I sit to think about it, I really cannot see it either. This game is like a football player that is being transferred from a club where he got good to a club where he is expected to be good and they just pay a huge sum of money for him but in fact he is just the same as he always was. That translates as Rome 2 is actually the functional S2 set in ancient Mediterranean.

Wow the UI looks like crap, battles too fast etc. - another total war game streamlined to death. I also don't like the edict system as i really dislike temporary buffs, i'd rather build entertainment/religious building or adjust taxes to please the mob, like in Rome 1.

My only complain with the Rezzed conference is this...

Aside a few extra things that only the people that went to E3 saw, you showed us nothing new.

I wanted to see the agent system! CA talked about the Champion, but they didn't show what he does. I wanted to see the same battle from the Roman perspective instead of the same thing we saw at E3 from a different camera angle!

Excluding that, i do thank CA for showing the Legion system and the family tree *it's not as cool as the family tree on Rome I and Medieval II. But it is an improvement from Shogun. But trust me CA, you will have to improve the family tree a hell of a lot more if your next game is Medieval III.*

Also, i have one question...where is the fog of war? Did CA remove it for the presentation or it won't appear on Rome II.

And finally this one really disappointed me, no assassination videos again? That one really sucks.

aha...

so negativ:
- no animation for the drivers of the charriots...
- animations for elephant?!? Did someone see one???
- physics... OMG... i think this will be the worst point... when this things dont change i will never use this units

its horrible...
-romans jumping through the wood of the ships when entering...
- no standard bearers
- the phalanx looks ugly - something is strange - maybe its because they dont have a nice shaddow?!? but they dont look good...

+ fought the romans in formations?!? 34:18 - you can see it when they fight the swordmen

im dissapointed by the videl... the missing animation of the charriot driver... OMG... the soldiers flying everywhere when the ballista hit - or the elephants run through... i gues i will never use these units

He said Antioch could expand to 4 times its size. Given that the city models are already huge and ugly, are cities meant to end up swallowing the entire region? Is that why the landscape outside of cities is quite dull in places, yeah im looking at you Syria.

The only big thing I have to complain about is that those massive spears of the Egyption phalanx looked weightless. As they were marching, the spears were coming up and set down in a split second, when to actually do that would require some strength.

As for their movement speed, I'm not against phalanx units being faster than they were in RTW. But they seemed a little too fast.

Yeah slow those battles down! Especially on the sand - I go beach running in pre season and running seems to be in slow motion on the sand, it's totally exhausting.

Oh, I have a feeling that the phalanx will be like crap.

Why interface so big? I have screen resolution 1920x1200, and according to the research questionnaire, the screen resolution is growing. Or, however, you have decreases?

It seems to me that if a game company has new features to a game they are rather quick to show them off. So far I haven't seen much that hasn't been in other total war games. They seem to be doing the COD thing and just giving us the same thing again and again with some updated graphics. That's fine i guess. I really would like to see more game-play that isn't Rome vs Egypt. Of all the factions I'm not to sure why they keep showing the same Egypt Rome battle again and again. Hopefully as the release date gets closer they will " bring out the big guns" as it were. It looks right now though that there really isn't much new to show so there sticking to the same old preview.

I absolutley loathe the jokey-jokey presentation by CA. "Release the balls", ridiculous rally points and so on. It's silly and childish. This is a wargame that I was contemplating buying a new pc for and I feel like someones talking to me like I'm an 8 year old when I watch these vids. Really not liking what I see. Holding off preorder and new pc until you guys give some reviews.
