    Default Turn Time

Hello , i was jsut wondering is there any way to increase the speed in which the turn time quickens becasue i feel that it takes a long time after i hit end turn to go through all the factoins, also i know my pc is good it can run Empires, napoleopn and shogun 2 and runs their turns quickly even vanilla M2tw, is it the mod that takes a long time cause i noticed it for Vanilla third age and third age with MOS sub mod and i was just wondering if there was anyting i can do to speed it up

MOS is well known for long end of turns as it runs lots of scripts. Many will probably say the trade off is worth it for all the nice features.

Uncheck "Show CPU moves" in the campaign menu. That's what I did.

i did still pretty long, is there a way to turn off all the scripts in MOS, i kinda just like to do free play without all the scripts that make it like the movie or book is there an option that you know of to turn them on or off?

The scripts are pretty much what make MOS MOS. Sure you get some different units and some things lore corrected, but the heart of MOS is in its scripts, and the turn times are the price you pay for it. If you don't want to play with any of the additional scripts you'd probably be better off just playing vanilla TATW imo.

at the beginning (and ONLY at the beginning) of each campaign you can choose what scripts to execute or not, though they are not ALL the scripts included in MOS, some I think should be removed directly on the relevant files.

Well, it depends what CPU and motherboard you have, and is it laptop or desktop PC..

Overclocking speeds up your Processor and then it can react and process things better or faster.

Side effect is higher temperature of your core/cores, and higher voltage consumption ( not too much, it depends on the increase of GHz) .

You would find better help regarding overclocking in The Basement, crazyeyesreaper or Totalheadache or Bolkonsky will be more helpful.

^^Also many systems cannot be overclocked. If the system is a good quality gaming computer than it probably can be overclocked, but if it is a 'Wal-Mart' off the shelf unit, probably not.

This problem is moot with the current generation of processors in a good system. Just remember that CPU clock speed is best for M2TW and the overall performance of the system is a total of its parts, not an individual component.
On my newest gaming rig, the end of turn times are under ten seconds with all scripts enabled.

Did you stole that from NSA or NASA? That's so expensive in my country that you have to be son of Bill Gates to be able to buy so big a SSD hard drive!

It can be purchased from Crucial for about $600 here in the States.
Since mine came in a complete package, I am not sure about the price of the individual components.

With Windows 8.1 and this drive the boot time reminds me of the 'good old days' of DOS.

The retail on the complete system was over $7000 USD, but purchased through the employee purchase program (EPP), plus a discount if purchased through an approved supplier, and employer contribution = my cost ~$3000 USD.

This was a custom built computer by a producer of high end systems and the liquid cooling was factory installed; probably a mixture of distilled water and Ethylene Glycol.

Talking about throwing away money on a PC system that you don't even need.

    My system:
    Motherboard: GIGABYTE P55-UD6
    CPU: Intel i5 750 quad 4x 2.67 ghz
    RAM: 8 GB DDR3
Video Card: ASUS Radeon EAH5830 DirectCU 1 GB GDDR5

    Cost: arround €850,-
Runs BF3 easily on Ultra and no money wasted!
