Problem with Rome Surrectum 2

Hello, My name is Dan Ichi. It is my first time on this forum but i will stick to the rules to the best of my ability. I need some help on Rome Surrectum 2 v2.5

I can not get this to work. I get the same 3 errors that other people on this forum usually get.

i.e. 1) Incorrect path (I let it install by itself to the default location of C:\Users\Home\Documents\ folder)
2) Engine: RomeTW.exe, Faction campaign: -mod:play_sparta
3) In total: 'RomeTW.exe -mod:play_sparta -mod:play_sparta'


- What OS do you use?

Windows 7 32bit

- What version of RTW do you use?

1.5 RTW
1.6 BI
1.9 Alexander

- Are you using steam or not?

No

My RomeTW folder is on the Desktop

I.e. C:\Users\Home\Desktop\RomeTotalWar\

- Which launcher option have you used (exe, faction etc)

RomaSurrectum2.exe at launcher folder, faction sparta, 0 turn campaign.

If you are reporting a game CTD please provide the additional details

(not sure what CTD means so i don't know what to talk about here)

- system specifications, CPU, graphics card

- AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ (2CPUs) at 2.1GHz
- Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS Graphics Card (756MB RAM DDR2)
- 1GB RAM
1280 x 1024 screen resolution

- graphic options selected (way too many options)

nothing selected from the launcher.

If you require any more information. Just ask, i could upload a copy of the information on DxDiag for convenience as well.

This is your problem. C:\Users\Home\Desktop\RomeTotalWar\ C:\Users\Home\Documents\ folder


You should install RS 2.5 to your Rome total war folder. Just do something simple like i did, install Rome Total War to something like E:\Game\Rome - Total War Gold Edition, then install the mod to the same folder.

Also if you have Alex.exe you should be using that in the launcher instead of RomeTW.exe
