Fatal error, game closing on steam.

Hey guys, every time I start up the launcher and hit any one of the four kingdoms campaigns, I get a message saying the game has suffered a fatal error, and will now close. I tried once to install Stainless Steel, but un-installed it later. However, it still shows up on my launcher... but there are NO files that I can find of it anywhere. Ive totally wiped my Medieval folder, so I know its supposedly a clean install.... however, it seems not to be. Please help when you can.. I really want to see whats new on Third Age

If you have the list editor for campaigns, you can use that to change it, if not i would suggest a clean re-install.
