    Icon14 Cry, shout, pain

Please, for realistic battlefield, we need the cries of pain when a knife pierces the body. Cries should be varied. Heavy and light. Cry perhaps just be from the panic. Cries have to be correspond the temperament of the people. Veterans accustomed to pain do not cry.

I agree, but I don't think it needs to be as specific as veterans not crying. I think you'll find a sword to the gut will make even the hardiest man scream in pain or anger.

Would be cool, if someone modded this in later! + blood which will likely be missing, right?

Dude, you really need to check out some videos from Rome 2 like the Teutoburg forest walkthrough, the "hands on" E3 videos, or maybe even Shogun 2 videos, because you come out as really lost and clueless.

I mean that not as an insult, but as a suggestion.

"He's trying to kill me !"
    - Generic Roman Legionary in Teutoburg forest.

It's the only line I could remember, but I think it's enough.

u do realize this is a whole other topic? decapitations gore? the gore in spartacuas was a little too unrealistic, and no one here wants that unrealistic blood from shogun 2

Shogun 2 blood is surely unrealistic, but it is homage for the typical "bloody" scenes of Jidaigeki Japanese movies. Without these films, the general interest in this particular period would be much much lower. For the same reason, I wouldn't be surprise if Rome 2 blood has the same ridiculous gory level of extremely popular series such as Spartacus.

And to begin with, I doubt that any significant number of R2TW players know exactly how is a "realistic" depiction of blood in battlefield.
