Veritas Temporis Filia
With cities being the size that they are, i don't think it is necessary to spend time developing city view.

That information is already in the CA Q&A thread... /thread closed.
R2TW stance: Ceterum autem censeo res publica delendam esse
It would be cool for a patch or something
"There's Brave Men knocking at our gate, lets go kill them"
Would have liked it but not a major letdown
Disappointed, I really rooted for this since I loved viewing maxed out cities in RTW.

Visit ROMANIA! A land of beauty and culture!
The time of city view has passed. Today all games rely on the direct view not a separate one. I see no problem in it's missing. I prefer a better game than resources spent on an aspect you may use once or twice.
Never knew how to use it. Never did see what my capital ever looked like because no one ever invaded...
Damn! Sometimes I need to tone my skills down a bit haha
No big deal never used it.
Not game breaking right, but it still saddens me, I really hope one day they will have the time to do it and patch it, hell I would even pay a DLC for it!
I liked it in the original Rome, but after a few times using it, I didn't really bother with it. So no major loss, imo.
This is sad to hear.
Time for City View DLC.
why do people still care about this thing

It's a rhetoric question but I'll answer it anyway.
a) It's good for roleplaying
b) It's good for making videos
c) It's immerive
d) Cities are just good to look at, even if there isn't a battle
e) They put a lot of work in making good looking cities, it would be nice if they weren't just for sieges
At least for me it's not game-breaking, I have enjoyed all TW games since Rome, even if they lacked this feature, but I still think that it gave a nice touch to the game, it was the kind of completely useless feature, that was nevertheless enjoyable.
I like seeing the city develop, CA keep disappointing. The CA guy said if this feature is asked for in demand we will possibly get it, I seen that alot of people wanted it.
Did you watch the E3 demo? You will see your cities develop on the campaign map.I like seeing the city develop
