Default Northafrican elephants for Ptolemaic Kingdom, Carthaginians e and Numidians

    Hi all,

Hi have seen in this video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zQIFpmdPDc

that Ptolemaic Kingdom use Indian elephants; is it historically correct?

I'm asking to CA to give the northafrican small elephants to Carthaginans, Numidians and Ptolemaic Egyptians.

It would be historically correct. Read this:

it's the other way round - the Indian elephants were taller.

The indian elephant is larger than the north-african elephant, or the african forest elephant, which was used by carthage, numidia or the ptolemaic kingdom. By sources, the larger turreted elephants in use were traded from India and/or Sri Lanka. Though, CA included different sized elephants in Rome I, no way they wouldn't include them in Rome II.

Northafrican elephant has lapsed; it isn't the same than the actual forest elephant. Also numidian, carthaginian and ptolemaic northafrican elephants carried towers:

Wikipedia, about northafrican elephants, gives correct informations! No death horse!

the text of the UI cards is "african elephantes" but surely they are asiatic elephants ! and probably also the relative small forest elephants carried towers : http://www.corbisimages.com/images/C...e-aa3d10d82ef5

The small northafrican elephants, maybe, historically, carried towers with archers; i think Ptolemaic Kingdom never used asian elephants, but used small northafrican elephants and sub-saharian big african elephants:
