MAARC XLV - The Winners!

Congratulations to the winners!
The submissions were few, this time around. However, the quality of these submissions was astounding. With the bare minimum met, in the second month of submissions, we were able to commence the voting battle part, to get this five-way battle royale underway! Though it seems just another MAARC has come and gone, a bit more AAR history has been made in this particular competition...
~
FIRST PLACE goes to Knonfoda's mega-epic tale, Julian, the Savior of Rome? The intensely epic tale is set in the closing periods of the antiquity, and features the trials and tribulations of one Roman Emperor's hopes to reclaim the former glory of Rome. The tale is told in beautiful detail, in this masterfully written AAR. Knonfoda really had it in mind to go the distance and climbs the steps of possibility, when he set out over two years ago to create this wonderfully entertaining and well-constructed story. There is no better way to go out on top than to win first place in the final competition entry, taking place during the final chapters of the epic tale, and Knonfoda has accomplished just that! In what seems to be like a fairy tale ending, or a scene out of a great movie, Knonfoda has indeed solidified 'Julian, the Savior of Rome', as a monumental achievement in AARtistry that will serve on a gold-plated pedestal in the annals of TWC's AARtistry, in not only an entertaining tale, but also a very informative one as well.
Claiming an astounding victory in the voting process, I do not need to tell you how worthy this AAR is of reading. Taking in twice as many votes as the second place entry, 'Julian', will live on forever!

Coming in SECOND PLACE we have Justinian Australis who took us to the same time period as our first place entry, with The Last Pagan Emperor! In fact, the two are based on the same modification? One of the benefits of this is seeing how different two stories of the same time period really can be. They have indeed done the modders proud, here! There must be something about Emperor Julianus that hails greatness. The story that Justinian Australis presents is a powerful addition to this competition as a whole. Featuring the life of the last Pagan emperor, Julian, the story follows the difficulties of suppressing the rise of what is now the largest religion in the world. Julian had the best interests of his predecessors at heart, and as the story unfolds, the challenges and trials become thicker, but this can be mended with enough blood and steel!
Congratulations on your second place finish, Justinian, and we look forward to much, much, much more blood and gore writing from you!
And to top it off, this second place finish earns Justinian a fancy medal, and surprisingly his first, as he secures himself a total of six WSCM points! Congratulations, again!

Awarded for obtaining six WSCM points

Our THIRD PLACE winner is an AAR newcomer! Merchant of Venice's story, Way of the Bow, takes the final spot on the victors list, after an intense first round tie, between two new Shogun 2 AARs, which lead to a tiebreaker vote and the victor of the two has finally been determined. The story follows Yuki the archer's journey through military service, as humble as it is. In Shogunate Japan, honor is everything. Some seek the glory of royalist conquest, while others seek to be the greatest general of their nation's forces. For the common man, service is plenty to keep one happy and in good moral standing.
Do not miss this upcoming AAR. Merchant of Venice is a very skilled writer *cough* Content Writer, and he shows off his skills here. Get started now before having to catch up!

The first round of vote can be found here, and the third place tie-breaker round is here. Make sure to check out the submission thread, here.
Congratulations to all entries, and thank you for your fine submissions. Keep doing what you love to do! Write more!
