probably suebi or pontus and for suebi i will conquer up to denmark to limit my borders, and as pontus ill try to please the seleucids and conquer around the black.sea

Carthage. I will (try to) carve my way through spain while befriending Egypt to have a buffer while Parthia grows. Then, if I'm lucky, Rome will enter a war with the Arverni and I can launch an invasion through sicily.

I liked Pontus and the Greeks in EB. So probably Pontus, Athens, or Sparta first. With Pontus I liked going for Galatia to get some celts in my army. The Greeks i'll probably take Crete and the other Greek city state (Athens/Sparta).

Probably Rome, I will look to defeat the Carthaginians before expanding to Greece, Egypt and then then Gaul.

Definitely Rome, since they are the flagship faction of the game, and I don't expect to play them again. They deserve at least a single playthrough.
I'll unite Italia and proceed to set up colonies at rich regions or choke points, and islands. I'll take wars as they come to me, and expand into my aggressor's territory. Eventually, I should have a logically formed empire.

When Hiero returned to besiege their base (Messana) in 265 BC the Mamertines called for help from a nearby fleet from Carthage, which occupied the harbor of Messana. Seeing this, the Syracuse forces retired, not wishing to confront Carthaginian forces. Uncomfortable under the Cathaginian "protection," the Mamertines now appealed to Rome to be allowed into the protection of the Roman people. At first, the Romans did not wish to come to the aid of soldiers who had unjustly stolen a city from its rightful possessors. However, unwilling to see Carthaginian power spread further over Sicily and get too close to Italy, Rome responded by entering into an alliance with the Mamertines. In response, Syracuse allied itself with Carthage, imploring their protection. With Rome and Carthage brought into conflict, the Syracuse/Mamertine conflict escalated into the First Punic War.

Hum Macedon or Epirus, will unite Greece but wont go west. ill do what Alexander did ill go east. Ill even try to make the same path. I wonder how far i will go, up to Bactria i will assume. :p Now doing that with in a single lifespan of one general, might be a chalange.Allthough i guess diplomacy can be helpfull.
