Medieval 2 MP Problem

Hey, I want to play TATW and Med 2 online battles but for both it says my Game Spy ID profile is wrong? Your profile is just the nickname right? I download Game Spy Arcade just to verify my details so I am pretty sure they are right, anyone know what the problem is? I know this isnt the MP forum but it seemed pretty dead compared to this one.

Try to register in IGN.com. GameSpyId.com doesn't work now. I use my old login from GS but can't change it.

The MP forum is not quite dead, there was a post on it about M2TW a few days ago and two posts today on other MP forums. Why not post there? On the CA/Total War/Sega forum it says the following:

Go to IGN and make an account. Log in on the medieval 2 total war multiplayer page with it.

Read the topic before you post. I already have a Gamespy ID, but the game tells me my profile is incorrect. What is my profile, is it just my username?

I just made an IGN account and tried to log in again on MP and it said my profile was invalid?
