There were similar numbers like that from a documentary I watched, so I'm rolling with those numbers. Another reason for why those numbers are accurate? That was the suspected number of the Cimbri as a whole, Rome wiped them out, placing tens of thousands of survivors into slavery. The whole tribe was wiped out. That's how much they numbered, and if the tribe was wiped out, then obviously the numbers are going to be around that mark. The Cimbri were a tribe who were always on the move, their families came to the battle and watched as well.
