Road To Rome: All the news for Rome II every week as it happens!

Hey everyone, my name is Darren and I'm part of College Gaming. We've just started doing a show called Road To Rome, that will cover all Rome news as it comes out, posting a weekly wrap up video every week. Dry week's we will cover different factions and other things in as much depth as we can. Please give this video a view, and if you like what we're doing subscribe. We're reinventing our channel to focus on Rome and total war in general.

In this week's episode we cover the E3 demo, the campaign map and the battle of the Nile. We also complain about the interviewer for gamespot!

We would love to hear other topics surrounding Rome 2 or possibly corrections of mistakes we may have made, though most is speculation so far based on what we know. We discuss a feature and how we think it will affect the game. Thank you very much!

He means that you are the going for 1 hundred member that does this since Rome 2 was announced and seriously, advertising your channel is not allowed as well. Plus, get serious and just think who on Earth that is roaming on these forums does not already know everything and more about you are talking about in your vid?

I liked the video. Can tell you guys put a lot of work into it. Yall had sense of humors and really just let yourself be big TW dorks which is cool because this series is the best IMO. I honestly dont know what happened to this community. I used to frequent it alot as a unregistered forever and at first when I registered and everyone was still pretty much noobs and helping eachother or joining in on joint happiness and worshiping the TW series together. I just got done reading some of the Demo Update thread and wanted to puke on my PC screen. Apparently $60 is like leasing a new car for some of these people and you expect everything on it to go how you want it to go. Same goes to all the haters who hate on people who understand that TW games are a very rare and special type of rare gem thats out there. Just shut the fudge up and enjoy it like you two do!!!

I think its a great idea. Not so much for the people on this forum but more for the new comers who dont really know about this forum, I think its a great step in gettings new-comers ready with information they may not know yet and youtube is a great place to start it

Great idea and great video ! Even though I'm mostly up to date thanks to the forums I'll still be watching your vids to get some interesting input. Where do you guys live ? If you're colse to Birmingham it might be interesting to get there for Rezzed next Saturday (I think) with a cam or just talk about it in one of your videos !

Thank you guys very much. This has been a great response. Still, I urge you to give more feedback here or on the video about what we should talk about next week. I don't doubt it will be difficult to keep the topics hot as Total War news isn't very prominent at the moment!

I, Darren, live in Ireland near Dublin, and Toby, lives in England in central London. We used to go to boarding school together 4 years ago.

A problem we had is people on TWC are hardcore, so they know most of this, but I still think it's interesting to have the topics discussed, rather than just being described.

Also, To those saying it's been done before, the reason we did this is because I wanted to listen to Rome discussion that wasn't Rally Point. I searched youtube (not extensivly) but couldn't find anything. And so we decided to do it ourselves.

Thanks again guys, I'll be checking the threads and comments very actively so any questions/input is very much welcome!
